TRUE WORSHIP MINISTRIES
Pastor David Allgood was born in Washington, DC and raised in Rockville, MD. He is the oldest of two and the son of David Allgood, Sr. and Pandora Dunkins. David was educated in the Montgomery, MD school system where he was able to experience a foundation in God with the help of a friend who took him to church as a child. Through much opposition, gang involvement, and struggle, by the grace of God, he was led to North Carolina where he met his wife and is now the father of four beautiful children.
David gave his life to Christ in 1996 under the pastoral ship of Reverend Gerald Tillman at Hood Chapel AME Zion Church, Biscoe, NC. With the leading of the Holy Spirit, David moved his family to Holly Springs, NC to join the ministry of Living Waters Fellowship Church under the leadership of Bishop J. Donald and Pastor Erika Edwards. With this shift, David served as the armor bearer to Bishop Edwards; however, he felt a greater call. In 2007, he accepted the call to ministry and is now a dynamic preacher and teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. David is not only a minister in word, but he lives and continues to walk out the calling to reach a rejected and dysfunctional generation of people for the Lord. Having experienced a life without hope and finding a family among drug dealers and gang bangers, God has given David a heart for young men who have found themselves in that state and now steps beyond all boundaries to compel them to take on the yoke of Jesus Christ.
David is the owner of H2O Professional Detailing, Jehovah Jireh Catering and Events and the co-founder of True Worship Ministries. He has been honored with the great call and selection to lead the people of God into a Christ-centered lifestyle of worship with his wife and children.

Pastor Sherri Allgood
Sherri Allgood, daughter of Jackie and Beatrice Harris and the third child of five, was born and raised in Biscoe, NC and received her higher education at A&T University, Greensboro, and Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in Fayetteville and a Masters in Education for Supervision and Administration from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. She currently is working on her doctorate degree in Education. Sherri serves as the Mayor of the Town of Troy, NC from 2018-2020.
Sherri Allgood grew up as a member of Hood Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Biscoe, NC where she served as a choir member/director, missionary, and youth minister. Under the ministry of Rev. Gerald Tillman, the desire and hunger to increase in the knowledge and wisdom of Jesus Christ developed. With the increase in a desire to perform the Will of God, this lead to the acceptance to the call of ministry in July 2000 under the pastoral ship of Reverend John Scarborough. By the unction of the Holy Spirit, David and Sherri relocated from their home in Aberdeen, NC and forsook all to submit to the covering of Bishop J. Donald and Pastor Erika G. Edwards of Living Waters Fellowship Church, Fuquay Varina, NC. Receiving holistic, solid teaching, completing advanced study programs and becoming enlightened to the intimate Word of God, Sherri was ordained as an elder and served in the leadership role under Bishop and Pastor Edwards.
Sherri Allgood has spent the last 21 years ministering extensively throughout the North and South Carolina areas. She is a ministry coach, executive director of Sandhills Cooperation Association, mentor and educator. She is also the visionary and co-founder of True Worship Ministries of Biscoe, NC where she labors with her husband, Pastor David Allgood and 4 beautiful children to encourage people across the world to see and live in the light of God’s Word.
God has gifted Sherri Allgood to teach the Word profoundly and powerfully under the anointing of God. She understands the importance of not only preaching the Word but also living a life that reflects the awesomeness of our God. Speaking for the unheard, standing for the faint, and sharpening the weary, Sherri is committed to being a vessel in which Jesus can express His love. It is no doubt that all those who come in contact with this woman of God and the gifts that God has entrusted to her will be challenged to go beyond their own abilities and tap into the power that God has made available to the believer.
